The Cowlitz Black Bears are happy to announce the signing of another returning player, infielder Josh Marchese.
Marchese played in 43 games for the Black Bears last season. He batted .243, nine doubles, four homeruns and 27 RBIs. The Burnaby, British Columbia native is not just a bat for the Black Bears, he is a smooth fielder as well over at the first base pillow.
“We are excited to get Josh back for another summer,” said Coach Tweit. “This young man came to the field every day with a plan to get better and ready to play.”
