Pilots Catcher Highlights Roster Additions

The Cowlitz Black Bears announce the signing of catcher Brady Kerr (University of Portland, Jr.) and pitchers Grant Wilhelm (Santa Ana College, Jr.) and Aaron Clift (Mount Hood, Fr.).

Kerr, a junior from Nathan Hale High School in Seattle, played two years at Bellevue College prior to joining the Pilots. He was named to the All-Tournament Team at the 2014 NWAACC Championship Tournament, and was also the Bulldogs' team MVP, Gold Glove and Most Inspirational Award recipient. In 2015 play, Kerr is the Pilots' primary catcher, starting 8 of the team's 11 games, and hitting .273.

Wilhelm comes to the Black Bears from Santa Ana College. The 6' 3" right hander is a graduate of Laguna Beach High School, where he was First Team All-League and Pitcher of the Year in the Orange Coast League in 2014.  He also was named to the MaxPreps California Medium Schools First Team All-State Team, and to the Perfect Game 2014 California Honorable Mention list. Grant has made three starts at Santa Ana in the 2015 season, with a 3.68 ERA.

Clift is a 6' 3" righty from Mount Hood Community College. Clift played at Thurston High School in Oregon, where he was 2014 6A All-State Honorable mention and Second Team for the All-USA Oregon team 2013-14.
