Black Bears Earn First Regular Season Win

The Black Bears earned their first win of the regular season over Bellingham, 7-2, tonight at Story Field.

Home runs from Jason Mahood and Garrison McLagan helped the Black Bears earn the win. The Bells tried to rally for more runs but it took two innings to earn the ones they scored.

Mitch Hamels earned the win for the Black Bears, who are now 3-3-1 overall, 1-3 in league.

Their next game is tomorrow night at 6:35 p.m. for the last game of the series at Story Field. Thursday’s promotions include Thirsty Thursday, when beer is just $2. It’s also Girl Scout Night, when wearing Girl Scout gear (including T-shirts or hats) gets you $2 off a general admission ticket.

Tickets are available at the left field corner ticket office. For more information, call (360) 703-3195.
