Promotional Schedule
The Cowlitz Black Bears are proud to release the 2021 Promotional Schedule. Now, in its 12th season, the organization continues to pride itself on offering a wide variety of exciting reasons to visit the ballpark and cheer on your hometown baseball team this summer. From special themed nights – to celebrating local members of the military and frontline workers – to fun family events for all ages – the Black Bears are planning something special for every home game at Story Field in Longview.
The Cowlitz staff will also debut a host of new between inning activities and games this season, many of which are presented by proud sponsors and will include prize giveaways.
Here’s a look at what’s to come*:
Friday, June 4 – Opening Night festivities with free magnetic schedules sponsored by Evergreen Home Loans. Keep this collectible on the fridge and never miss a game!
Saturday, June 5 – The 7th Annual “Kids Money Scramble” presented by Fibre Federal Credit Union. Watch youngsters scramble for a pile of loose change while Corby the Bear cheers them on in a special event for kids 12 and under!
Sunday, June 6 – PeaceHealth Sunday. Join us as we salute our local frontline workers and enjoy special activities presented in part by the radio stations at Bicoastal Media. Remember, kids 12 and under get in FREE every Sunday!
Saturday, June 12 – Rally Towel Night, presented by Busack Electric. It’s a tradition! Get to the ballpark early and receive a free Rally Towel while supplies last. Use your towel to rally the Black Bears as they score all season long!
Sunday, June 13 – PeaceHealth Sunday. Join us as we salute our local frontline workers and enjoy special activities presented in part by the radio stations at Bicoastal Media. Remember, kids 12 and under get in FREE every Sunday!
Tuesday, June 15 – $3 Deal Day. Special Tuesday concessions deals throughout the ballpark!

Tuesday, June 22 – A special night presented by Lower Columbia Longshoremen’s Federal Credit Union. Become a member and enjoy free tickets!

Friday, June 25 – Pepsi Night presented by Corwin Beverage. Enjoy free samples of the latest and most popular Pepsi products. Plus, all fans receive a free raffle ticket for cool Pepsi prizes!
Saturday, June 26 – The “Kids Dash 4 Cash” presented by Twin City Bank (rescheduled for Saturday, July 10 due to extreme heat).

Friday, July 2 – Dream Dentistry presents Photo Booth Night. Come pose for free pics at a fun photo booth throughout the evening. Share your pics online for a chance to win prizes!
Saturday, July 3 – Military Appreciation Night and Fireworks presented by Pacific Tech Construction and Western Fabrication. Join us for a special evening as we salute our military, veterans, and first responders. Plus, stick around for a post-game fireworks extravaganza!
Friday, July 9 – Kids Free Day presented by Indy Way Diner. Fans 12 and under are admitted free with paid adult. Plan to be at Story Field for a fun Friday with the whole family!
Saturday, July 10 – Mini Bat Night presented by Evergreen Home Loans. Be among the first fans through the gate to receive a free collectible Black Bears mini bat while supplies last! The “Kids Dash 4 Cash” presented by Twin City Bank will also take place on this night, as it was moved from earlier in the season due to extreme heat. Don’t miss this exciting annual event as youngsters 12 and under race for $1,000 on the field!

Saturday, July 17 – The “Diamond Dig” Charity Fundraiser presented by Bob & Celeste Crisman. Be among the first adult female fans through the gate to receive a free mini shovel. Use your shovel to dig for beautiful diamond jewelry following the game! This charity event will benefit the Humane Society of Cowlitz County.
