There is a new crew heading to Longview this summer! We are pleased to announce our first member to the 2023 roster – Grant Jay! This power hitting backstop from Dallas Baptist University will bring some big time pop to the Black Bears lineup this summer. As the top ranked catcher in the sate of Alabama, Grant is consistently praised for not only his offensive prowess, but also his elite defensive skills behind the dish. We are excited to add Grant to the long list of DBU greats who have played for the Black Bears in the past.
