Black Bears open crucial six-game homestand Monday.

Following a weekend set against the Ridgefield Raptors at The RORC, the Cowlitz Black Bears
welcome in the Edmonton Riverhawks to Story Field Monday evening for the first of six games
at home.

The Black Bears find themselves in the hunt in the South Division after their best start in
franchise history.

Now Cowlitz returns to Story Field trying to solidify their spot towards the top of the South
Division. The Black Bears host Edmonton for a three-game set with first pitch coming at 6:35
this upcoming Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

On Thursday, the Black Bears get a day off before three games against the Bend Elks for the first
weekend series at home this summer.

The Black Bears over the first 14 games of the season are hitting .278 as a team and have put up
10 or more hits in eight games this year, the last time on Saturday night in Ridgefield.

Edmonton comes to town sitting towards the cellar of the North Division off of two straight
series victory over the Port Angeles Lefties and Ridgefield Raptors before their first two games
against Portland were rained out.

The Riverhawks are hitting .246 as a team and hold a 6.32 ERA over their first 15 games. They
have only scored in double digits in two games this season.

Tuesday is ‘Three Dollar Tuesday’s’ with tickets, hot dogs, nachos and domestic beer all being
three dollars, and Wednesday is ‘Fibre Family Wednesday’, where fans can have five dollars off
on tickets at the gate if you show your Fibre Federal Credit Union card.

First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. on Monday!
