July 3 . . . to be continued

Longview, Wash.- The July 3 game between the Cowlitz Black Bears and the Wenatchee AppleSox was postponed in the eighth inning due to the field lights malfunctioning.  The game will be continued on July 4 from the point at which it was postponed, as part of the Black Bear's "Free on the Fourth" Independencence Day celebration.

The continued Game One of the series will begin at noon, picking up in the bottom of the eighth inning, with Wenatchee holding a 3-0 lead and the Black Bears' Andy Armstrong (SO Oregon State) on first base with no outs..

The regularly sheduled Game Two will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.

Ticket holders from the July 3 game will be admitted for both games by presenting their July 3 game ticket.

July 4 is "Free on the Fourth," presented by Pacific Tech Construction and Western Fabrication.  All General Admission tickets are free, and upgrades are available for purchase on a space available basis.  Concessions will feature an All Amerian barbecue, with hot dogs, hamburgers and baked beans.
