The Nighthawks went 2-15 last season, their only wins coming against the Walla Walla Sweets on July 6 and the Pippins on July 13. NW Star has already played one exhibition game this season, losing to the Corvallis Knights 12-6.
Cowlitz is coming off a three-game losing streak, having been swept in the opening series of the 2025 regular season against the Portland Pickles. The Pickles’ pitching staff held Cowlitz to three runs over three games, while the Black Bears’ defense committed eight errors in the series.
