The Black Bears head back home for a three-game midweek series against the Marion Berries, who are the newest WCL team and in their inaugural season.
Cowlitz is coming off of their first road series of 2025, in which they swept the Yakima Valley Pippins. They won the first game on Friday, 9-2, then an offensive explosion in the second game had both teams score double digits for the first time in the WCL this season. The Bears escaped with an 11-10 win and would also take the third game of the series, 4-3.
The Marion Berries are in their inaugural season in 2025 after being added to the West Coast League as the 17th team and the 9th team in the South division.

The Berries are coming off a sweep at the hands of the undefeated Portland Pickles. Like the Pippins, two of those losses came by only one run. The third and final game ended on a Pickles walk-off home run by Jordan Lewis. They head to Longview with a record of 2-4 and having lost three straight.
The Berries-Black Bears series begins on Tuesday at 6:35 p.m. at David Story Field. Game two on Wednesday will also take place at 6:35 p.m., as well as the Thursday finale.
